The Scenic Hoover Trail – a section of the Ohio-to-Erie trail completed in 2010 near Galena in Delaware County – was originally a brick road. During construction of the new trail segment, DCFT was able to save a limited number of the original bricks. Individuals and business can “buy a brick” to be professionally engraved with family names, memorials, or remembrances. Engraved bricks will then be used to pave prominent areas along multi-use trails in Delaware County.
