Genoa Township Trail

Description: 

This beautiful section of the Ohio to Erie Trail runs from Mt. Royal Ave. north to Plumb Road, following the former rail bed that runs parallel to State Route 3.  By crossing Mt. Royal and traveling south you can connect to the Westerville bike trail.

Trailhead location:

The southernmost point is the intersection of Mt. Royal Ave. and State Route 3. From here, the trail continues south behind the UDF and behind Northgate Plaza where it connects to the Westerville Trail System behind Home Depot.

Northernmost point is Plumb Road. DCFT has worked with Delaware county to secure a Clean Ohio Fund grant to continue the trail north from Plumb road towards Galena.

 

Where to Park: 

McNamara Park on Big Walnut Road at SR3 (Behind the Fira and Police stations)

North Side Presbytyrian Church. Freeman Road and SR3

UDF parking lot on State Route 3 near Mt. Royal, or or in lots  East of SR3 - use crosswalk at SR# and Mt. Royal to cross to trail..
